Ani počasí, které v některých momentech nebylo úplně nejlepší, zima a drobný déšť, nevzalo všem hráčům a hráčkám chuť do zápasů a snahu předvést co nejlepší výkony. Některé zápasy skončily vysokým vítězstvím jednoho z týmů, někdy to byly velmi vyrovnané zápasy. Ale tak už to u mladých týmů bývá. Někdo již má zkušenosti, někdo je teprve získává.

V kategorii COLT U16 baseball vyhráli své skupiny Česká akademie, German Academy, Braves z Nizozemí, EAST Austria Academy, kategorii PONY U14 ovládly týmy z Nizozemí, první skončili Orioles, Twins a Future Stars, čtveřici vítězů doplnila German Academy.

Pro baseballový tým z Ukrajiny je turnaj hlavně příležitostí, jak získat zkušenosti i v tak těžké situaci, která je u nich doma.

V softballu dívek Krčanda Pony League se hraje jen jedna společná skupina pro obě kategorie, tedy COLT i PONY. Mladší dívky Piranhas Beroun a Litva to nemají proti starším týmům jednoduché, ale bojují statečně. Piraně z Berouna drží dokonce průběžné čtvrté místo.

Dnešní play-off zápasy už nám dají odpověď, koho uvidíme ve finále a bude tedy bojovat o postup do Světové série v USA, a kdo bude hrát v zápasech o umístění na nižších příčkách. Velmi důležité také bude, jak se zachová počasí. Pořadatelé mají v záloze i mokrou variantu, kterou by ale pochopitelně raději měli jen na papíře a mohlo se hrát naplno až do konce.

SUMA Pony League and Krčanda finished first half of playing days.

SUMA Pony League and Krčanda have successfully completed their first half of the playing days, baseball has already recorded all round robin games. Softball girls still continue to play for group standings today. Even the weather, which at some point was not the best, cold and light rain, did not take away all the players' desire for games and the effort to show the best possible performances. Some games ended in a high scoring victory for one of the teams, sometimes they were very balanced games. But that's the way how it is with youth teams. Some already have experience, some are just gaining it.

The round robin groups COLT U16 won Czech Academy, German Academy, Braves from the Netherlands and EAST Austria Academy, teams from the Netherlands dominated the PONY U14 category, the Orioles, Twins and Future Stars finished first, and the German Academy completed the top four winners of groups.

For the baseball team from Ukraine, the tournament is mainly an opportunity to gain experience even in difficult situation at home.

In the girls' softball Krčanda Pony League, only one joint group is played for both categories, COLT and PONY. The younger girls Piranhas Beroun and Lithuania face the older teams, but they fight bravely. The Piranhas even holds the fourth place for the moment.

Today's play-off matches will give us an answers to whom we will watch in the finals and will therefore be fighting for one European spot at the World Series in the USA, and who will play in the lower-place matches. On Sunday there will be also very important how the weather will support the event. The organizers also have a wet version in reserve. Preferably, we would like to have that only as paper version until the end.
